Dr. Victor Erenberg is a native of Los Angeles. He embarked on his path to becoming a veterinarian at Malibu Coast Animal Hospital while in high school, when he spent many hours as a volunteer, observing and learning from Dr. Dean Graulich.
Dr. Victor attended the University of California, San Diego, from which he received his bachelor degree in 2000. Upon graduation, he spent two years at the Center for the Reproduction of Endangered Species at the San Diego Zoo, researching Bonobos. Then spent the following year working with the Hubbs Research Institute in Florida, studying manatees. Dr. Victor was accepted at the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2002 and graduated in 2007.
After graduation, Dr. Victor was accepted into an internship program in medicine and surgery at California Animal Hospital, where he worked alongside Dr. Stephen Ettinger. He joined the Malibu Coast Animal Hospital team after the completion of his internship in 2007 and has continued to follow his long-held belief that animals deserve our help for all the devotion, love and affection they provide us. Dr. Victor feels there is no greater reward than saving the life of an animal.
In his free time, he enjoys surfing and spending time with his family.
